Been awhile since I actually put something on this site. I got a couple things, but I haven't got around to uploading and writing something for them yet. I personally love art with really long descriptions. It's like a mini-diary, but, that also puts me off uploading more of my art when I can't think of anything to say...

Anyway, I wanted to have more reptilian characters, I don't have enough considering how much I love them. Her name is Kalaeidos, she was partially inspired by the concept art for the boss Malak from Silhouette Mirage, and a couple paintings I saw of women applying lipstick. Lipstick lizard good.

I kinda want to do a painted version of this. Maybe some other time.

I remember trying to "draw how I feel" at the time and this came out. Lots of internalized frustration... but I think the drawings are pretty funny. It cheered me up to do them, despite the reason I drew them in the first place, LOL. Before this, I realized I rarely drew Cassius giving any sort of real expression. I still have a hard time really expressing my characters, makes me feel like I'm still a beginner artist sometimes, but I digress.

He has his own internal frustrations, so this made sense to draw at the time, and gave me a better idea of how to draw him in the future.

I can see a lot of mistakes in this art now, but I'll take that as I'm getting better, and not obsessively go back and fix it. >_>;
